About the experience
After a scenic transfer from Bovec, a 45-minute approach leads to the entrance of the canyon. The route begins with a 20-metre waterfall, followed by turquoise pools, natural slides and optional jumps.
The use of ropes is limited after the first waterfall, making the canyon suitable for participants without previous rope experience. However, the approach and movement through the rocky riverbed require good general fitness and some hiking experience.
Ronek lies in a remote natural environment where other groups are rarely seen. Early exit from the canyon is difficult or impossible in some sections.
